What is wrong with my swordtail fish?

I have about six swordtails that I got from my moms friend when the ones in her 50 gal tank kept having babies. They are all doing great here in my tank except for the largest one, a female. She has a little redish patch in front of her bottom fin,and she has been sitting almost on the gravel at the bottomof the tank. What is wrong with her? Is she just old,or is she sick? What should I do?
 
I would go to the local petstore. He might die because usually my sick fish just die. I also think he may be a danger to the other fish so put him in a plastic bag and take him to the pet store. :) hope she lives
