What is wrong with my honda?

i have a honda aspree and it is sstarting and letting me put the trottle on a tiy bit but anything more than a few miles an hour my moped will stall. it has 4200 miles on it and its an 86. could anyone tell me whats wrong with it? it has gas and oil in it btw...
a friend iof mine told me that it is a belt problem. i have never replaced the belt and i think i had felt some belt slip on my moped because it had recently been goin about 5 mph slower than usual. i had fallen on it about a week ago but it had run fine afterward. i had matenince on it about 200 miles or a month ago. its been started and run every day for months.
