Lately my cat has been acting very afraid of me. When I try to pick him up or walk towards him, he'll run away from me. When I do catch him, he shakes a little and buries his face into my arm, along with his ears back.
On Monday he was acting like himself but a little more affectionate than normal, but then the next day he started doing this.
When I go to sleep, he becomes his old self and sleeps on top of me and allows me to pet him.
Earlier today I took him out for this walk and when I picked him up to go inside, he started to growl and hiss at me. Also he's been lashing out on his sibling.
He seems to be okay, healthy-wise. He's eating, drinking, using his cat litter normally.
So, do you have any ideas what's wrong with him and how I can work this out?
