My Brother got a new HTC Desire for Christmas. This afternoon it was dropped from a height of about 75cm on to a wooden floor. The phone still works (Can receive calls, the touch screen still works, and all the physical buttons still light up) but the actual screen doesn't light up or give any display. He's pretty upset about it, so I was wondering what has gone wrong, and if it is repairable/worth repairing. Any information is appreciated.
