I have a small pink betta fish about a year old. I keep him alone in a large goldfish bowl, with black marbles on the bottom. Recently he has not been swimming around the bowl, but laying on the bottom. His tails and fins are not spread out like normal but seems to be sticking together. Also, he has not been eating. He has always eaten the betta bio-gold pellets, but now he can't seem to catch it. He lounges at and either misses the pellets or can't seem to fit the pellets in his mouth. I've tried breaking the pellets into smaller pieces but the same thing happens. I change all the water every two weeks, using top fin water conditioner for bettas. So what is wrong with my betta? I don't want him to starve to death.
