1) Just recently my truck has been jerking while driving. It always happens when it gets to around 50 mph and then settles down after the truck continues to accelerate. 2) Usually and only on cold mornings my truck will rev really high before it shifts gears, this is only in the lower gears (5-25 mph)....not sure what that is all about? The truck is automatic and has 59,000 miles on it. Also it has a slow powering steering leak that needs re-filling every 2 weeks, not sure if that might be the cause of the problems. Any help?

Sounds like a sensor. Your car might be in need of a new thermostat or new distributor cap, wires, or even spark plugs. The computer may have some issues sending the right signal, or it might be recieving the wrong information back from the engine. Both of which would cause those issues.
