Today, for the second time in the life of my car, the air conditioning would not turn on in my car. No matter how I attempt to turn on the heat, no air will come out. I hear a faint sound of the blower motor trying to click on, followed by nothing.
This only seems to happen during extremely cold temperatures (today averaged - 6 degrees) and even after letting the car run for a while it still will not click on.
The next day I can turn on the car and the blower motor will start fine, the air will warm normally, and everything will function perfectly like nothing happens. The only thing to note is that there is a slight smell of antifreeze, but nothing alarming.
The first time I thought it was a fluke but now I am worried. If it keeps happening I'll have no way to defrost my windows! Is something wrong with my blower motor? Is it a relay? What parts could it possibly be?
