what is wrong with me?! please help?!

i'm 19, and a unveristy student....
well back in january i spoke the the uni nurse about me having pains and dizzy spells during and after sex, which lasted the whole night,so she booked me in for an ultrasound scan, which came back fine, therefore obviously being good news to me

but over this weekend i had a funny turn, i felt extremely sick, hot and dizzy, and pains in my lower abdomen and back,i put it down to dehydration, so on sunday i was drinking more fluids, but i felt like it was going straight through me as i was urinating ALL the time, and the urine was clear and i still felt very nauseous.

So on Tuesday i went to the University nurse explained everything, they took a water sample, which came back normal, they tested my blood sugar, which was fine, and they tested my blood pressure, which was also fine! but because i still felt sick and i still had pains in my lower back and bladder area she booked me a doctor's appointment.

So today (thursday) i went to the doctors, explained again and she said i could be pregnant, so i bought a pregnancy test and it came back negative ( thank god!)
but even after all for this i am still urinating alot even though im drinking alot, and i still feel quite sick and i still have pains in my lower back and bladder area. It is extremley worrying to me as i have had a history with weak bladder problems, and even eith all these test they still can't find anything wrong! i do feel like i'm getting overworried, but i do still feel unwell..
can anyone shed any kind of light on this subject? or am i just being silly?
can anyone help me?!?
 
Since you are a college student, I would guess it could be some type of virus. My son is also at college, and he's always getting something. I would give it a bit of time and it might just go away.

In the meantime, please try to eat healthy, drink a lot of water, get enough sleep and try not to worry.

If it doesn't get better, maybe try another doctor.
 
Yeah it could be just a viral infection. I have had similar symptoms before with the lower back pain, and dizziness, nausea etc. Try not to worry cos it will make you feel a lot worse (i've spent all weekend worrying to the point that I felt like I was going to be sick thinking I had something really wrong with me.. turns out it was thrush... not pleasant but total relief!) So if you can try to relax and not think about it constantly! :)

the only other thing is to go back to the dr's and tell her you're not pregnant so what else could it be? I'm surprised they didnt just perform a test there and then to rule that out right away... I went to the walk in centre once with similar symptoms, feeling sick and dizzy a lot, going the toilet loads, headaches, and she asked for a water sample and did a preg. test right away (negative phew!) Turns out it was stress and I was just run down.
Id definitely get back to the dr's if it doesnt improve any but in the meantime please try not to worry! :)
 
Hi there,
If your still not better, I would ask for bladder and kidney function tests. You may have an infection that has not become full blown. Also, since you're sexually active you might want to have a pelvic exam and be tested for any STD's. They can cause pain as you have described.
