What is wrong with "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" s credits?

I know that they both star in the show and Vincent D'Onofrio (detective Goren) usually solves the cases.But in some episodes ,in which Chris Noth's character (Detective Logan) and his partner solved the cases, does not even have D'Onofrio or his partner in the credits. They are not even mentioned.Why is that? In Law and Order SVU,all of them are in the beginning credits even in episodes which they did not even appear.
