What is wrong if my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee won't start, and won't fire? 5.2 Motor.?

I have been having problems getting my Jeep to start. I had the transmission replaced in it about a week ago. It ran fine for about 3 days. Then it got really cold "below 0 cold" I went out to go start it, and it wouldn't fire. Any ideas for what I should check out before I tear it apart? I replaced the battery because it was completely dead after I went to try starting it. Now it turns over, but no fire what so ever. It's getting fuel when I turn it over, because I can hear it. Would it have something to do with my crank sensor?

you are saying you can hear the pump? but is the fuel reaching the engine? first make sure the gas is getting to the engine. if you have no fire to the plugs then it could be the coil or module. have them checked before going and buying a lot of stuff.

Check for a spark at the spark plugs. If there is spark I would think that it is a fuel problem either it is not getting fuel or it is getting too much fuel.Flooding.If you have a carburetor the choke may be staying on. If you have a fuel injection system your injectors may be dirty.
