western civilization starts in greece then moves to the romans and every empire they conquered (egypt, carthage, france, germany etc etc)
thats the early western civilization.. after that you add americas and any place predominently inhabited by people from a western country, for example, even tho england invaded india i would not consider it western civilization but i would consider australia part of it.
so basically, europe and who they conquered and settled
