What is Verizon Wireless' exchange policy?

I have had the Blackberry Tour for about three months now. When I woke up this morning, NONE of the buttons were working. I can't get to anything without plugging it in, and all that does is finally show me the screen. I can't unlock it, I can't answer/make calls, I can't do anything. I've tried taking the battery out several times, and I've taken the memory card out as well. Neither of which have helped. I'm going to take my phone to the Verizon Wireless store today but I'm not sure what to expect. I read somewhere that because my phone is less than a year old that they should do an in-store exchange - is that true? I've had only one exchange before and that was with a previous phone that also had some keypad issues, however that phone was older than my Tour is at the time and over a year ago. If I take the phone to them will they exchange it? Also, will I lose all of my information?
