I have been having tests for several weeks to try to determine the cause of my severe back pain. Twice, drs. have told me they found "uptake" on my pictures. Can someone tell me what this is?
It means they found something interesting looking, but either they aren't sure what it is yet, or they just aren't being specific. Hopefully you have an appointment coming up at which some of this will be explained?
Do you know what the tests were? Did some of them involve dyes or contrasts?
