Yesterday I just changed my oil on a 1998 Honda Prelude, and went from conventional to full synthetic. The stock oil sensor was glitched and the check oil light would randomly come on and blink when the temperature gets warm, so the previous owner had a new gage installed which actually measures PSI. The normal spot for pressure when idling is slightly above 0. It did this with the old oil. After the change yesterday, my oil pressure when idling sometimes hovers at 0 and the oil light comes on and stays solid. What is causing this? The oil level is fine, everything is tight, and the engine is making no abnormal sounds.
