What is transcript? Transcrips attached to a college application are black &

white or colored? 1) I am applying to a US college. They need my previous all colleges transcripts. Is it better to attach black&white or colored transcripts? (but they have not specifically mentioned).
2) Definition of transcript, my knowledge is not including original certificate but colored or black&white copies. Is that correct?
