What is this weird membrane stuck after first time having sex?

I just had sex for the first time today and I noticed in the bathroom that i have a weird membrane hanging from my vagina now. its not very big but it's kinda stuck halfway in there. Should i try to pull it out and is this normal? I'm kinda scared... :/
 
That is your hymen or "cherry" which is normally over the opening of your vagina. But it has now been torn. You can pull it but it will bleed. I would suggest you leave it be for a day or two and it die off a bit and be easier to remove.
