I remember a show that was on in the early 2000s...
It was a cartoon, set in either America or England. The main character is on a skateboard, and he somehow ends up in the "future", where everything is one big desert, but he finds people living in a huge glass dome. I remember one scene where the girl who finds him (I'm pretty sure she was tanned, with short blonde hair) shows him what they eat. It's some sort of dense white mush, which they pick up and eat. He ends up starting a food fight. Their method of transport outside the dome was big parachute-type sheets.
Now for the antagonists...
I think they were reptilian, but I'm not sure. I remember them being huge and intimidating and they lived underground. The people in the dome would go out and get bread and food, things like that, and make a sort of offering to the creatures. After they did this, however, the small group that made the offering (about five or six) had to stand in a circle, and one of them would get sucked down underground.
That's all I can remember at the moment... I'd love to find this show again, it's be a great help if someone could tell me the name of it
