What is this new film called?

I went and saw both the Simpsons and Transformers two days ago at the cinema and there was a teaser trailer for an upcoming film. I am certain it didn't have a title or date on there; nobody else saw one too, and I looked out for it especially.

It was mostly filmed by handcam at a teen party, and was american. There were few steadyshots.

Then something happened and people started screaming and running about.

Any help at all please?

It looked like an action-horror. guessing the certificate will be 12 as transformers was.
 
I think youre on about Cloverfield, /1/18/08. Theres a thread on here somewhere about it.
 
I think you're talking about the trailer of a new film by JJ Abrams (creator of Lost) that's coming out next year. It's all been very hush, hush; in fact the film is yet to have been given a name, just a codename (though it could be a working title) for the public to refer to it by. I think there was an article in the film section of rabroad and certainly one on the Film4 site.

It does look pretty amazing.
