I woke up a few weeks ago with a knot on my palm about 1 inch under my third finger and now I have another knot under the ring finger like that one split. It is painful with touch or using it. It has discoloration also,kind of bluish but not much discoloration. I think I hit on the door when knocking but can't believe that it can take this long to heal and it even gets worse sometimes not better.
I am really concerned that something is wrong that could be permanent. I do not have insurance since my divorce unfortunately and the Ortho Dr. that I called said $175 just to see me and then probably an xray too! I do NOT have that kind of money but may have to find it so I can see what this is. Does anyone medical out there know what this could be or if it takes longer for palm bruises/knots to go away/heal? I use my hand with my work so I need this hand to heal.
