My male Sunset Fire platy was completely healthy two days ago. Now his tail and about 1/3 to 1/2 of his body has turned stark white within hours. He also has no control over that white area and ends up dragging his body along the gravel by swimming with his front most fins. There is aquarium salt in the water (formerly a freshwater tank but salt is supposed to aid ill fish) and medicine that fights parasites, bacteria, viruses, and even two different types of anti fungal medicine in the tank but the infected area continues to spread. The fish has been isolated since the beginning of the problem. I don't know what to do now or what this is. Possibly an internal parasite that I can't fix?
