I was just thinking about this film I saw a good few years ago - im thinking 2002-2003.
It was about a young disabled man who met up with his grandfather and they grew a really strong relationship and got into lots of trouble situations. I think the grandfather dies at the end and the man doesnt understand it. It looks pretty old so even though I saw it in 03, it is probably at least 20 years old by now, likely more.
