when i make a bed roll, i have to have a piece of sting to tie it all together with,

the string is quite slippy so it is easy to tighten the bed roll, and undo.
but i have forgotton what the name of the slippery like string is called, if it really doesnt matter can you suggest what string would be best to use for a bed roll?
