What is this book title?

When I was in fifth grade, I read a book but I cant' remember what its called. All I remember is there was an army that was made of stone slowly moved to help someone and they made there just on time. It was about chinese people I think and they had to go on a quest or something. It was really long for me in those days...700 pages. Please help
