It's a children book (about 3rd grade reading probably) and I can't remember the name of it but it's about a farmer/rancher and he's herding his cattle across many miles, I can't remember why, but along the way he runs into many obsticles and the only party I remember cleary is at one part in the book he's traveling and he can't find any water to drink and there are hundreds of flies or some kind of flying insect all over swarming and they go into his mouth. That's all I remember. Sorry for the lack of info.
