What is this book? Conflict that has something to do with Parkinson disease)?

i don't know the whole story about the book i just w that there was conflict about Parkingson Disease. the mom had it and the daughter wanted to get married or have a kid but wouldn't because of her chance of having to (it might have been a boy though)

the book might have been a boy instead of a girl, i just know that it had some conflict about the disease

does anyone know of the book or author that fits this problem in anyway?
