This happened months ago. Just doing some office work and did it fast .. flipping papers and putting them in a sorter. It suddenly hurt but i didn't really notice it much and continued. Then, i was transferred to another department, so i didn't do this kind of work for a while and i didn't get pain.. then i was transferred back to the department where i did paperwork and it started hurting again ...so here i am.

Well although i can bend my thurab and move it.. if hurts.. especially if i move it fast or semi-fast. for example, doing the kind of work i did to hurt it, will cause pain.

when i type, even though it's the left thurab and i don't use it to type.. just by it moving with the typing hand..it hurts.

It just hurts with most activities, THe only way to not get it to hurt is to keep it pressed against the index finger or keep it from moving.

I'm guessing it's ligament or tendon damage. But there's nothing that can be done for that so is there any therapy or some way to avoid getting pain?

I'm 31 male.

Depending on exactly what's wrong, you may benefit from having your thurab splinted for a period of rest, or some specific exercises, or even surgery if that doesn't work.

Tendons or ligaments do heal themselves, given time and good conditions. Have you considered getting it checked out?

Yes but i dont have insurance and i'm poor and i just went to the dr for something else recently and i don't want to miss work. but well i'll go soon

You could tape it so that it is immobilized for a couple of weeks to see if that helps. Or get a splint for the drug store for it. And try taking Aleve as well during that period as it might help with any inflammation.
