this has "zero lash mechanical automatic adjusters" and has a spring loaded plunger that holds zero lash.. "tighten screw until eccentric pushes plunger completely into bore, then back out adjusting screw until adjusting mark is directly over valve stem and torque locknut to 35 lbs" .. for the complete initial setting adjustment you'll have to read the repair manual..
