What is the use of "Light effects" option in profile settings of Nokia C2-01?

Previously i had Nokia 3110 classic, in that cell when i set the light effect option to ON, it used to gave flash light effects after missed calls and for new unread msgz, but its not working in my C2-01 even when that light effect option is ON. I want my Nokia c2-01 give flash light on missed calls or new unread msgz. Please help me
