Okay, so I'm planning to build a hand-crank generator as a test and then move on to bigger and better things. I've been asking around for information and someone told me that the wire(s) in the center of the generator that are spun in a magnetic field to make electricity have to be wound a certain way to get a better energy output. How do they need to be positioned? If the description is too long to type, can you at least suggest a webpage? Thanks so much.
