I was recently trying to take care of a family emergency and I got pulled over for speeding. I was trying to pace myself at about 80 mph (not using cruise control), but one of the officers claimed that I was accelerating above 120 mph. Is a car of this model, with no modifications, capable of going that speed? Where can I find information that might be permissible in court about this?
