for further info, I've already gotten the thing out using an awe, and some patience. Just looking for a more convenient method. thanks.
I am doing some work on the Rear differential on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. I've noticed that there are no shims, instead there are some weird things in there that need to be turned and backed of in order to get the spider gears out. It appears that there is some tool that can be stuck through the axle shaft to twist it, and my question is:
Does anyone know where I can get the tool to get it out, or maybe recommend a good tool that could be used in its stead.
Thank you.
