I few years ago I started reading this book about a society in which the city is divided into colours which then equal a class.. like grey, white etc. The book starts with a girl who is taking an exam which will help determine whether her family moves up into the next colour/class or something like that...

I never got much further with the book then that due to the sheer amount of work I had and was hoping somebody out there could enlighten me as to what this book is called if they have any idea! Lol know its a bit vague but that's all i can remember of it and it looked really good :)
