When I was younger (middle school) I remember reading this book about two sisters, the setting is in mid evil times. Something happens to one of the sisters and the other sister has to go on this adventure and she uses her mothers boots and when you put them on you run really fast.. and there this scene when some kind of animal(s) eat themselves to death because there is a table that keeps providing food or something.. ?
