What is the Three toed sloths habitat like?

The three-toed sloth is almost totally arboreal (tree-dwelling), with a body adapted to hang by its limbs. It lives in the shrub or lower tree layer, but sometimes moves to the canopy.

Sorry, that's all I could get other than they live in rain forests.

Three Toed Sloths live in Central and South America, in the tropical forests there. They spend 90% of the time in the trees, hanging and crawling from branch to branch in search of the leaves, fruit, and other vegetation they feed on.

The temperature in the rainforests of South America depend a great deal on where you take that temperature in relation to how high or low you are under the tree canopy. It is always cooler on the floor of the forest than at the top of the trees, and in between it varies of course. It is always warm in the tropics and yearly temperature does not vary too much. On the floor, in the shade, it is about 80 degrees F + -, while at the top of the canopy it is well over 100 degrees F.

There is a rainy season and a dry season in the tropics. Since it rains there all the time anyway, all that means is that certain times of the year it just rains more than at other times.

Since these Sloths live above the ground, hanging upside down, getting rained on all the time, and in such an environment, the fur on the back of these adult animals turns green with algae.
