what is the the lower coolant hose on a 94 dodge caravan?

There is a coolant hose right underneath driver side. this has rusted out and i have no idea what this is. mabe a heater core for the back passenger controls?

is there anything comes out of it like anti-freeze? if there is then see if you can put a piece of heater hose on it with heater hose clamps.
