So the ends justify the means? Even if the means are rights and freedoms that I have to give up for "security"?

I know, why don't we just install cameras in each and every home so the govt can monitor you anytime. Hey, if you aren't doing anything wrong, no problem....right?

There is a really good article in this month's Playboy about the Tea Party. As left leaning as Playboy article tend to be, this one praises the Tea Party movement as necessary and proper.

Well first we would need to clarify exactly which rights and freedoms you are being deprived of: if you can substantiate claims that you are likely being spied upon in some way, and even if you are, whether that information can in any way be used against you.

I can't say that I have nrabroad
iced any difference in my freedoms except when I go to the airport (the TSA is a badly conceived and horribly implemented wart of a government agency – which, as it happens, was quite bipartisan in origin)
