...someone? In New Jersey my ex filed to emancipate our daughter at age 17 (she and I lived in GA). He won, and the court ordered me to pay him back for the months retroactive to age 17 in the amount of $8000. He then told me he wouldn't ask me for the money. Now, 7 years later, he wants it. Is there a SOL on collecting this and what does it fall under? If not, do I have any recourse?
