what is the star like image visible in eastern sky?

It appears to travel from East to West in a parallel orbit to the Earth, visible at about the three o'clock position in the Eastern sky. It appears much brighter than any of the stars and much closer. Movement is almost unnoticed except for when the hour gets later, it appears closer and larger
