I occasionally do some Video, And am thinking about spending the time learning Maya/Blender. Add a some scripting in there too.
I started out in drawing,k and am transferring over my skill set to the computer (which is good in the long run). I also have done some film photo (and video on borrowed computers). What is the best setup for a student? I don't have anything right now.
What is a good standard setup for starting out with- beyond Illustrator and Photoshop. What physical computer build? What other programs (beyond word) Where is the industry going?
