What is the specific test for the H1N1 flu, and is it a quick result test?

My son was sick as a dog a couple of weeks ago with a 105 fever and a littl throwing up, but he wouldn't eat, and was lathargic and had aches. He is 13 mos. We had to take him to the ER because he was so dehydrated. They took a flu test for A and B flu and it came back negative. Is the H1N1 part of that test? Or is it a seperate test. I don't know if he had the swine flu. I suspect not, but I was just wondering if that test they took was it. They just told me he was negative for flu A and B, so I assumed then and there that it meant all flu's.
Okay. Good to know. I didn't know it was classed in type A, I will spread that to my friends who didn't know either. He is doing fine, thanks!
I'm sorry riley's momma. How is he doing?
