What is the single biggest problem facing global civilization?

Food is becoming a problem. Just wait til the warmers get their hands in everything, we will be rationed and have much less avail to the average joe while the very rich will still enjoy their steaks.

Watch, it will happen. Ever see Soylent Green and what I like to call the 20.00 tomato?

How about two per cent owning most global wealth while mass starvation and diahreah from drinking polluted water is causing one in five human deaths.http://www.cbc.ca/money/story/2006/12/05/globalwealth.html

lucid and pissed is correct that food is becoming a problem, but she doesn't appear to understand why. The "global warmers," she says. Someone show her a human population graph covering the last few hundred years. Global warming hypotheses aside, it's a fact that millions of Asians rely on glacier meltwater, and it's also a fact that most glaciers are disappearing. When millions of people lose access to food and water, entire regions destabilize overnight.

Potable water will be a problem within the next 30 years or so.

Mrs. G -- Yeah that feverish work is really paying off. We're down to... let's see... just under 10,000 warheads now!
