Yesterday I experienced a dramatic fall during a soccer game. The defender for the other team and I were both going at the ball hard, we both collided and hit the ground. I, myself, went flying and landed on my back and slammed my head hard off the ground, the wind had been knocked out of me and when I hit the ground my vision went black, whether I closed my eyes or something corrupted my vision I don't know, but immediately after hitting my head a throbbing headache had occurred in the back of my head that was pulsating throughout it. For what seemed like a long time, I was on the ground, but according to teammates and supporters I was right back up within seconds of hitting the ground. I did not leave the game, I kept playing until the final whistle. Now a full 24 hours later I am experiencing random spasms of pain in the back of my head and neck, what might have happened during that fall that could be causing this pain.
