I realize it's a "vector graphics application" but what are vector graphics useful for? What are the advantages of Photoshop besides the obvious ease of usability? Is Illustrator strictly for drawing your pictures while Photoshop is for manipulation of existing pictures? And how do they work in conjunction with one another?
What is the purpose of Adobe Illustrator when compared to Photoshop?
