What is the proper PSI fuel pressure needed for a Ford Focus 2000? What is considered

too much? Its a 2.0, single
I just replaced my fuel pump with another pump that provides 85-95 PSI pressure but my car turns off when im driving, its almost like if it turns off when you run out of gas, and my tank has gas.
