I am a new producer that is looking for representation. I'm extremely confident that if i had someone to send my instrumentals to different artists and labels that i would be signed in no time. Talking it over with a couple of people, i decided to send a demo to management companies accepting unsolicited material. Before I send it out, i want to know what i need to do to protect my music. I have heard of copywriting the tracks but thats all the information i have been able to gather. If possible can someone give me any information on how to go about sending a production package! Also the instrumentals are sampled, do i have to include something additional? BTW, i am a producer looking for a (hip-hop/R&B) producer manager. Thanks in advance!
