how do people become labeled as 'conspiracy theorists' when the average high school education no longer teaches logic?

People become labeled as "conspiracy theorists" because the average high school education no longer teaches logic.
Nor much of anything else except to pass tests, discussion irrelevent.
Also much of our population has either dropped out or slept their way through what we call "education'".

l think the problem is that people are on overload with stress from their daily lives or on trips to escape the overload of stress. They don't want to think about issues directly affecting them that cause them stress, that they are powerless to change.
Furthermore, l think people are embarrassed because they know they are being lied to by the powers they need to trust. No one knows the truth, but what is being touted as truth may indeed be so, and then, maybe not. It's easier to blindly accept than to take a stand.
But if your neighbor takes a stand and you don't, that's embarrassing too- it shows you up as a know-nothing who will swallow anything, a fool for being fooled.
So the best course is to invalidate anyone who thinks, develops a theory, and proposes it to others for discussion.

Hence a person who talks about a theory that differs from the official version is debunked as a "nutcase" who believes people have formed a conspiracy that is out to get them, when actually that might well be the case.
It's so mucn easier than having to think and perhaps face disquieting facts and then perhaps have to do something disqueting about whatever those disquieting facts may be...and then you might be wrong, who knows? You see, what l mean? Much easier to "forgetaboutit." Here, have another beer...
But you can't shut the entire population down. People do think, they do get together and talk. What do they talk about? A theory, that maybe there is another story we are not being told...Whenever 2 or more people meet privately to discuss a plan they want kept secret, there you have a "conspiracy" involving "theorists".

Whoever uses that term is ignorant, uneducated , illogical,(see above).
But it sure is convenient. And it works. We have no revolution in progress that l know of. Of course you never know, maybe some theorists are cooking up a conspiracy...
