I am told that Fox, CNN, the big 3 networks, various newspapers all put a slant on their stories to support various politicians, issues, parties, etc... Is this true? If so, what are they? I guess I have never paid much attention to it to notice.

that depends, whether they lean left or right, CNN versus FOX is a perfect example.

Fox: right-wing MSNBC: left-wing the rest are a little of both from time to time----thats why I like BBC and Reuters

They all work off press releases from the Israel Lobby. Therefore they are all unfairly slanted in favor of Israel (even though Israel is sucking us dry economically and got us to bomb Iraq and wants us to bomb Iran). Neoliberals and Neocons are all traitors working for Israel to the detriment of the USA.

FOX leans conservative. All other networks lean liberal. Two NPR and BBC lean far, far liberal. CNN is basically all Obama all the time. Newspapers are almost totally liberal some more so than others. The New York Times and the
Los Angeles Times being among the most liberal. All of them claim to have conservative commentators. The radio is different. Here liberals were not as successful. In talk radio you will find more conservative voices.
