...the mirrors as in a kaleidoscope? my teacher said there is a pattern but i don't know quickly answer b4 she reveals it i nid 2 know 2 get more mark 4 my test coming up

this is the pattern my teacher gave me:
30degrees-10 images observed
60degrees-6 images observed
90degrees-4 images observed
120degrees-2 images observed

if the angle between mirrors is a factor of 360 (or if 360/angle is an integer) there are 2 cases

1) the object is placed symmettically

then the no of images is 360/angle -1
the -1 term as one image coincides with ur object.

2) placed unsymmetrically
no. of images is 2*(360/angle) -1
again 1 image coincides with object

if 360/angle is not an integer i think u get an infinite no. of images

btw 30 degrees give 11 images not 10
90 degree give 3 images not 4 & 60 deg give 5 images (again object coincides with image, but if u dont worry about that remove the -1 from the other calculations too).
