I am studying MA in animation, and I got interested in film studies recently. looking around to get information about the discipline, reading different textbooks on the subject, searching on the net for schools and departments, I got confused what the ultimate aim of film studies is? Who is the consumer of the researches in this field? and why is it intrinsically so much interdisciplinary?
