What is the opposite to drama linear order, as in normal time sequence HIGH

RATING FOR BEST ANSWER!!? I have to describe crosscutting for my drama coursework, crosscutting is a sequence of scenes in linear (chronological) order that is rearranged into an order that isnt linear, one problem i dont know a word that is opposite to this meaning of linear....
